Where is the talk Language School located?

We are on the first floor in the offices marked easy talk.
Is there parking available?
Yes, visitor and blue zone parking is available onsite. Longer parking is available close by at Steinbach train station and Migros.

What is the nearest public transportation?
Steinbach train station is 4 minutes walk away, with a train every 15 minutes in either direction.

Prices and payment
What do you charge for your classes?
Private lesson: CHF 100 / 60 minutes
2 students: CHF 50 / 60 minutes
3 students: CHF 45 / 90 minutes
4-5 students: CHF 35 / 90 minutes
6-8 students: CHF 30 / 90 minutes
Discussion groups: CHF280 for 8 sessions max. 6 people

How can I pay for classes?
E-banking preferred. Twint is also possible. A semester invoice is provided before the semester begins.
Cancellation of classes
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
For small groups of 5 or less students, there is no refund on semester fees if you have to skip a lesson.
For groups of 6 or more, a deduction of CHF20 can be made for a holiday absence if the teacher is informed of the date prior to the start of the semester. There is no refund if you have to miss a lesson because you are sick.
There is no deduction for couples joining a class together.

What if the teacher has to cancel a lesson?
You will be notified at least 24 hours prior to your lesson if it needs to be cancelled.

Teachers
Who teaches the classes?
Louise Rapaud is the main teacher for all the classes. She has over 25 years in the professional world - nsix of those teaching English to adults. She holds both the CELTA and SVEB 1 certificates.

How do I know which class is right for me?
After a personal consultation call with Louise, she will suggest the class that she thinks will be most suitable for your English speaking needs.
Your first lesson is free of charge to make sure it is the right fit for you.
COVID-19 measures
Do you have COVID-19 restrictions during lessons?
talk follows the advice of the BAG, so presently, no, we don't need any restrictions.

Do we need vaccination certificates to attend classes?
talk follows the advice of the BAG, so presently, no, we don't need any proof of vaccination.
How are online lessons conducted?
When necessary due to Corona regulations or for distance learning, lessons are conducted on Skype or Zoom - or a student's preferred platform.
